PATCHWORK DESIGN HOSTEL

WARSAW, POLAND – [JANUARY 2020]

Using the establishment’s colour scheme, designs were hand-painted onto the walls of the bar and entrance hall.

REVELLER'S

BELGRADE, SERBIA – [DECEMBER 2019]

Using Procreate on my iPad, I drew up some designs, and then had a mandala approved by the hostel’s owners.
I created a grid over the digital illustration so I could plot points and use geometry to sketch up the design onto the wall.
This approach allowed me to ensure symmetry, whilst improving efficiency, and quality.
Once I had drawn the mandala in pencil, I painted the colours and then finished off with the black outlines.

HOSTEL RANIA

SARAJEVO, BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA – [NOVEMBER 2019]

Using Procreate, I drew a mandala, had the design approved and then began working on the wall.
I used geometry to sketch out the design to ensure it was symmetrical before I began to paint.

THE POETS' CORNER HOSTEL

OLOMOUC, CZECH REPUBLIC – [OCTOBER 2019]

Graphic work using the Adobe Suite to optimise the newly digitised logo for the hostel,
followed by hand-painting the logo onto a 60×120 piece of wood to make a sign to be displayed on the street.

A procedural artwork produced with the purpose of exemplifying skills acquired over a period of concentrated study of the Processing programming language and integrated development environment.

A piece of original geometric art created from my own photograph using Adobe Illustrator and Processing.
